So, I just got home from one of my busiest days so far this year. This week the team at CYFC have been working in a local school called Grace Academy alongside various mission teams from national Youth For Christ, and it's been amazing… And very busy!!
We have been really blessed to have the amazing “Stance” dance team, “Nomad” with their awesome football cage, and various rap artists including Guvna B, and a guy called Happy – who totally lived up to his name.
After the first 4 days of fun, engaging with young people through lessons and lunchtime activities, today saw the culmination of all that hard work at an event in the school this evening where all the teams came together to produce something beautiful, with tonnes of young people hearing a simple gospel message and having shed loads of fun. My favourite moment has to be near the end when I got the chance to freak out some of the Stance team with some close-up card illusions. Their reactions were first class. I'd kinda forgotten how much I love doing close-up. Maybe I should get back into it. I'm so rusty.
Anyway, the other highlight of today was he official launch of my new radio show “That Friday Feeling” on local radio station, Radio Plus. We even got to interview one of the Nomad guys during the show.
